Everyday Fall Makeup

Eveyone is talking about this fall trend..having red lips.
Cold weather tends to dry out our skin and its better to keep it moisturized as much as we can to keep the healthy glow.
Sometimes we tend to neglect our lips and on a sudden day will have ugly chapped lips, so try to moisturize it as much as you can especially before applying lipstick.
My favorite is Palmer’s Shea Butter lip balm, the shea butter is well known with its moisturizing magic, always keep one in your make up purse to apply it before applying your lipstick for a healthy lips all day.

Now my all time favorite red lipstick is MAC Russian Red, this one is a matte blue based red and it gorgeous, not too light nor too dark, just the perfect RED you will ask for.

To compliment your red lips wear a subtle eye make up, too much on your eyes will ruin the beauty of your lips only if you’re going to a party and you want to apply heavy make up.
For a regular everyday wear eye look just apply one color all over your eyelid and another color on your crease and blend the crease area only so there will be no harsh line on top and the two colors will look blended.Then apply the same color that you applied on your eyelid on your lower lash line. Curl your lashes and apply several mascara coats for a luscious look.

I would recommend these MAC eyeshadows for such look:
For a velvety/purplish look: TRAX (velvet) all over eyelid, Vibrant Grape (satin) on the crease.

For Taupy/brownish look: Satin Taupe (frost) on all over eyelid, Outre (Matte-Limited Edition) or Soba (satin) on the crease.

The best mascara to try this season is my new love Loreal Lash Architect 4D.

Now a bold red lips might be too much during the day, sogo for either beige/nude lip gloss or satin lipsticks like MAC Brave (satin), Kinda Sexy (matte), and Modesty (Cremesheen). Make sure to apply the moisturizer before using a Matte lipstick to avoid drying your skin. If you think a beige/nude gloss is too nude then try coloring your lips with a light brown creamy lip liner then apply the gloss on top. My such favorite lip liner is by Helena Rubinstein in 09 Natural , or you can use Boldly Bare by MAC.

On the cheeks you can always use a warm color for both looks, you can go for Gingerly by MAC or Giorgio Armani Sheer Blush #4.
