I posted before about the Sigma Synthetic Kabuki Brushes and how much i love their application for liquid foundations and tinted moisturizers. Now Sigma launched around a month ago new synthetic brushes for the eyes called Precision Brushes to mimic hand application, they’re mainly to use for concealers application and contouring.
This is the Synthetic Precision Kit that contains four brushes, one is flat, one is round, another is angled and finally a tapered brush. These small brushes are exactly the same shape as the big ones that are designed for face, knowing that Sigma also launched a new Synthetic Tapered brush called F86 – Tapered Kabuki.
P80 – Precision Flat
“The small, dense and flat top is ideal to conceal blemishes, sun spots and small imperfections on the skin. It can be used to stipple concealer on defined areas, followed by precise application of setting powder.”
P82 – Precision Round
“The rounded top was designed to mimic your fingertips, making this brush ideal to apply eye shadow primers. It can also be used for the precise application of highlight shades on the bridge of the nose, cheek bones and cupid’s bow.”
P84 – Precision Angled
“The small angled top makes this brush perfect for precise contouring on the sides of the nose and contouring the hollows of the cheek bones. It can also be used to highlight the brow bone.”
P86 – Precision Tapered
“The tapered shape of this brush is ideal for application of concealer under the eyes and on defined areas such as the sides of the nose, chin and around the mouth. This brush can also be used to perfectly apply concealer around the lips to prevent color bleeding.”
F86 – Tapered Kabuki
“The F86 Tapered Kabuki brush is ideal for using powders and highlighter under the eye and cheek area. The dense and precise tip in this brush enhances cheek highlighting and contouring for a flawless application. Synthetic Sigmax HD filament.”
Finally i have to say that Sigma is one of my favorite brushes, i can even say that it is even better than MAC’s, and they’re so affordable i feel comfortable buying more than one brush from the same kind. I dont say that MAC is no longer good but who would say no to an almost similar brush quality for lower price!!
