HAUL!: Charlotte Tilbury – My first picks, swatches and first impression

Hello everyone! i am really excited about today’s post!! Charlotte Tilbury is a British make up artist who launched her own makeup line in September 2013, since then i wanted to get my hands on her products because i heard so many good reviews about it, i kept postponing my wishlist until recently where i finally decided what i really wanted based on the swatches i saw online. I didnt want to get alot of products, i wanted to test the texture and quality of the products and if i liked them i would definitely order more.

مرحبا يا بنات! وأخيرا لقيت حل لمشكلة العربي في موقعي ،الحين ان شاء الله ببتدي أكتب بالعربي والانجليزي بس بصراحة مب متعودة على بعض المصطلحات فبقلب انجليزي اذا مايت الكلمة على بالي لين ماتعلم عدل. بتكلم اليوم عن مشترياتي من ماركة بريطانية اسمها شارلوت تيلبيري، وهي خبيرة تجميل بريطانية نزلت ماركة باسمها في شهر سبتمبر٢٠١٣،  من يومها كنت ابي اشتري منه وكتبت كل الي في خاطري ابيه وتميت أأجل لين الفترة الأخيرة لما شفت انه مافي مشتريات ثانية مهمة آخذها هل شهر> جيكت الوان الدرجات الي أبيها من صور في النت وقررت أخيراً شو باخذ مبدأيا كتجربة لنوعية وجودة المكياج وإذا حبيته بطلب زيادة

This is how the packaging look from the outside, the boxes are glossy reddish brown with golden names and labels, it looks very sophisticated and classy! i loved it, i dont normally care about the boxing of the products and i usually toss them away as soon as i get the products but these are really pretty.

هذا هو الشكل الخارجي للعلب، لونهم بني مايل على أحمر وجلوسي والكتابة المطبوعة على العلب باللون الذهبي ، بالعادة أنا ماهتم بالعلب الخارجية وعلى طول أرميهم من أول مافتح العلب بس بصراحة هل علب وايد راقية وحلوة فاحتفضت فيهم لين ماشبع منهم ههههه

And this is how the packaging of the products look like, now this picture was taken at night in a normal room’s lighting, the golden packages are obviously gold in the picture but the two on top are actually dark reddish brown and not black as they are shown in the picture, i wasnt very patient to take a good picture and the lights kept reflecting on them so i kept the photos this way.

The first product to review is called Filmstar Bronzer & Glow (Face Sculpt and Highlight), this is one of the products that first caught my eyes and i knew i wanted it, it only comes in one shade. When i first saw the colors i thought that the bronzer is too light for me but the highlight look absolutely gorgeous in the pan, when i swatched it i was pretty sure the bronzer is very light for my skintone and what i thought about the highlight was true, it was a really pretty creamy goldish highlight. But when i used the products i was really amazed by the bronzer! It was a perfect shade for bronzing, it was very pigmented on my skin and it blended very nicely, i didnt think it will show on my skin to be honest, it is not a matte product, it does have a bit of shimmer to it but it wasnt that obvious on the skin, it just gave me a beautiful sun-bronzing glow.

As for the highlight i immediately fell in love with it (not that i needed to love it more because i knew my thoughts about it when i first saw it), it has good color payoff and the texture is velvety and feels like a cream product, it is applied nicely on the skin and can be blended easily, same as the bronzer.

I really loved the bronzer and the highlight, i was really amazed by the quality and the colors, this is an absolutely beautiful and a must-have product.

أول منتج بتكلم عنه هو البرونزر والاضاءة، ايون في علبة وحدة، أول ماشفت الالوان في العلبة قلت مبين انه البرونزر فاتح وخفيف ومابيبين على لون بشرتي بس شفتت لون الاضاءة وايد حلو

أول ماجربت البرونز على ايدي تأكدت من صحة كلامي وكان فعلا فاتح فأكيد مابيبين على بشرتي، ،بعدين جربت لون الاضاءة على ايدي وكان اللون وايد وايد حلو وملمسه كريمي وايد حبيته. قلت بجرب المكياج على ويهي وبشوف كيف بيطلع، أول ماجربت البرونزر بصراحة انصدمت فيه ماتوقعته يبين عدل علي لون بشرتي مع انه يبين فاتح وكان ملمسه وايد حلو واندمج بكل سهولة بفرشا خاصة للكونتور وكان مناسب علي، البرونز مب مطفي فيه لمعة خفيفه من وايد مبينه بشكل ملفت بس يعطي لوك وايد حلو ونور في الويه. لما ييت اجرب الاضاءة طبعا ماخاب ظني فيه لانه طلع أكثر من رائع، هل لون حبيته من اول ماشفته في العلبة وكان عجيب على البشرة

بصراحة هذا المنتج أنصح فيه وبقوة لانه لونه وايد حلو وملمسه مطريقة دمجه خيالية بس فيه عيب واحد انه بس ايي منه درجة وحدة يعني مابيناسب البشرات السمرة او الي ماحبت اللون مافي خيار ثاني

Now the second item to review is an eyeshadow palette called The Dolce Vita (Colour Coded Eyeshadow), i chose this shade because i saw alot of people picking this product most between the rest of the eyeshadow palettes, i was torn between three palettes but i decided to go for this one. It has a highlight color, a maroonish color, a glittery color and a dark brown one. The palette looks very pretty, in general i really loved Charlotte Tilbury’s packaging, but the palette’s size is really cute and the eyeshadow texture is velvety and highly pigmented, they dont fall out alot like other products.

I loved the colors and texture when i swatched them, when i wore them on my eyes i didnt feel anything special about them, i didnt have a “WOW” reaction like i had with the bronzer and highlight except for the highlighting shade in the palette i really loved it, the colors can be easily replicated and found in other palettes, there is no hard-to-find color in this palette.

The only thing that made me like this palette is that when i wore all of my Charlotte Tilbury’s products in one look they really matched together and the eyeshadow combination looked very pretty with the rest of my makeup.

المنتج الثاني بتكلم عنه علبة ايشادو من ٤ الوان واسمه ذا دولتشي فيتا، هل بياليت اخترته كتجربة أولى لاني شفت معظم الي حطوا صور الماركة في النت خذوا من هذا اللون بالذات ويمدحونه وايد وحبيت الالوان، بصراحة كنت في البداية محتارة بين ٣ علب بس في النهاية قلت بجرب هذا بالاول واذا عجبني ممكن اطلب الالوان الثانية. الحين هل علبة مثل مامبين في الصور حجمها شوي صغير مقاونة بباقي العلب، وفيه ٤ الوان، اول لون هو الاضاءة ، اللون الثاني ماروني، اللون الثالث لمعة برونزية ،اخر لون بني غامق. الحين انا ماشفت شي غريب في الالوان ولا فيهم شي مميز والالوان ممكن الوحدة تحصلها في ماركات ثانية مشابهة، بس الشي الوحيد الي حبيته وايد هو الاضاءة كانت عجيبة ووايد انبهرت فيها بس باقي الالوان ماعطوني نفس الانطباع. الحلو في الايشادو انه الوانهم قوية وثابته ومايتنثر وايد، ،بعد الي حبيته اني بعد ماستخدمت مكياج الماركة كله في لون واحد كانت الوان الايشادو مندمجة مع باقي الوان المكياج فعشان جي حبيته

The third product to review is a blush called Cheek To Chic in Ecstasy (Swish & Pop Blusher), now this blush is made to be used in two steps, the first step is to “swish” the blush brush on the outer color and apply it on the apple of the chic and up to the cheek bone, then “pop” the brush on the middle color and apply it only on the apple of the cheeks to add a pop of color. Both colors are frosty but they felt very creamy and velvety when i swatched them.

I did it just like the way it says and i had an amazing result despite the not-so-fluttering swatches, i immediately thought this is a frosty light color that will look ugly on me and will accentuate my pores ( i dont have that obvious pores but frosty blushes tend to show them), i had almost the same reaction i had when i applied the bronzer and highlight, the color was “WOW” and i loved the combination of the highlight, blush and bronzer together, my cheeks and face overall was glowing, i LOVED this product!!

المنتج الثالث هو بلاشر اسمه اكستاسي، فكرة البلاشر تتطبق بخطوتين ومكتوبه على علبة البلاشر. أول خطوة انه نمسح فرشاة البلاشر على اللون الخارجي ونحطه من أول الخد لين العظمة والخطوة الثانية نحط الفرشا بس على اللون الي بالنص ونحطه على أول الخد بس عشان يعطي لون اقوى من باقي الخد. اللونين في العلبية يبين انه فيهم لمعة بس لما جربت الالوان علو ايدي كان ملمسهم مخملي وحلو بس فيه مشكلة وحدة انه الالوان ماطلعت حلوة وحسيتهم فاتحين ومايناسبوني، ،بالعادة البلاشر اللماعي يظهر المسامات أكثر اذاكانت الوحدة مساماتها مبينه، انا ماتبين عندي وايد بس مرات هل نوع من البلشرات يظهرهم زيادة

قلت بجرب اللون علي وبشوف كيف بيطلع وطبقتها بنفس الطريقة المكتوبة على العلبة وكانت ردة فعلي نفس لما استخدمت البرونزر والهايلات، بصراحة استخففت بالدرجة واللون ولمعته، طلع اللون وايد حلو دمج اللونين عجيب ولمعته ماكانت قوية لهدرجة، كان مناسب جدا مع درجات ولمعة البرونز والهايلايت وكله مندمج بطريقة حلوة مع بعض، بصراحة حبيته وايد ويعطي اضاءة ونور في الوجه بشكل حلو

This is the swatch of the blush, the left shade is the outside color of the blush, the middle one is the color in the middle, on the right is a swatch of the two colors together, honestly i dont see the swatches that beautiful, i didnt like the color at all, but it looks totally different on my cheeks, i fell in love with it.

في الصورة حطيت كل الوان البلاشر، الي علي اليسار هو اللون الخارجي، الي في الوسط هو اللون الوسط في البلاشر، ،الي على اليمين اللونين مدموجين مع بعض. بصراحة لونهم وايد بايخ لما جربتهم على ايدي وماحبيتهم ابدا بس كانوا طالعين غير لما جربتهم على بشرتي كانوا وايد حلوين

The last product is the lipstick called K.I.S.S.I.N.G in Bitch Perfect (Fallen From The Lipstick Tree), this is the only lipstick that caught my eyes, i’ve seen so many pretty swatches of the product and i knew i wanted to get it.

It is a creamy, opaque and very hydrating lipstick, it has an anti oxidant ingredient which protect the lips from UV damage and external pollution, beside that it has a light diffusing particles to give a full lips effect , i became very familiar with the light diffusing effect after using Hourglass Ambient Light products. The color reminds me alot of Tom Ford lipstick in Pink Dusk but this one is lighter. The only disappointing thing about the lipstick is that it doesnt have much product in the packaging, i actually thought the lipstick is going to be as tall as MAC’s but it is not.

اخر منتج بتكلم عنه هو الروج والي اخترته ماحترت في اختياري ابدا هو روج اسمه بيتش بيرفكت (بصراحة انا مش فاهمة مغزى هل اسماء) المهم اني شفت صور لبعض الارواج في النت وهذا اللون لفت نظري وقلت لازم اخذه، لما استخدمنه كان كريمي ولونه قوي ويرطب عدل ماينشف الشفايف ابدا، لونه وردي فاتح ووايد مشابه لروج كنت متكلة عنه قبل من ماركة توم فورد اسمه بينك داسك بس كان اغمق شوي. المميز ي هذا الروج هو تركيبته الي تمنع التأكسد وتحافظ الشفايف من الاشعة فوق الينفسجية والملوثات  الخارجية، غير هذا فيه خاصية يعكس فيه الانارة عشان يعطي ايحاء انه الشفايف ممتلئة. الروج فيه عيب واحد انه حجمه صغير وكنت اتمنى لو كان حجمه نفس ارواج ماك

Charlotte Tilbury’s products are still not sold in many places and websites but it can be found at net-a-porter which i ordered mine from and Selfridges, Charlotte Tilbury’s official website doesnt accept international credit cards, i have tried to order but they didnt accept. A local website called estilo.ae started selling some of Charlotte Tilbury’s products with a price difference of course which i tend to not really buy from them unless i am in a hurry to get a product or cannot find it anywhere.
